Martinsburg:

I agree with your editorial of May 19 titled "Credit Risk" in all aspects except completing the story. When, I wonder, will our newspapers and network news report with proper emphasis that it is not all elected officials, but overwhelmingly Democrat elected officials who refuse to seriously participate in solving our obvious current financial irresponsibility. They utterly failed their sworn constitutional responsibility to provide a budget last year, when Democrats completely controlled the House and Senate. So far this year, the Democrat-controlled Senate is refusing to propose a budget, which would be a starting point for negotiations.

Democrats regularly claim that there are all kinds of government programs that must be implemented "for the good of the children." Well, the U.S. government truly must stop incurring debt that will totally ruin the future for our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, etc.
